For a forthcoming promotion , which will involve placing a small
server-push .GIF on over 80 small web sites simultaneously, we are
looking at ways of putting the ad in a separate window. The javascript
for launching a separate window when the page is called looks pretty
simple - but how can we make sure it continues to float over the top?
(Sure I read something about a Netscape plug-out recently.)

And how much success have people had with this kind of ad placement?
