I tend to use elibrary to check for press coverage by searching for
company/product name, etc. It's at:

http://www.elibrary.com/

Also you could try searching NewsPage, who archive selected news stories
from various sources at

http://www.newspage.com/NEWSPAGE/BNPSearch.html

Neither of these will probably be as comprehensive as you'd like, but in the
absence of anything better they could be useful.
