example to my earlier posting:

This very morning I received this e-mail:

"Just for U - Just Because - I would like to wish you the best of luck in 97
and also welcome you to my new CyberCard Site. Please take a few minutes
from your hetic life style and send someone a cybercard, to tell them you
care. It will make them feel so great. Also check out my complete site. We
also supply FREE Computer Support. Your cyberfriend. Angel"

Now, I don't know Angel. This is unsolicited and completly unrelated to
anything I have posted at my site or have said anywhere online. Undoubtedly
SPAM. They will no doubt send this to others and inevitably pay the price.

Now, this e-mail I don't perceive as spam -

I came across your house rehabbing page on the net today. I thought you
might be interested in our product PREGO flooring. Our web site is at
http:www........

It's specifically related to what my site is about. It's unsolicited, but I
don't see it as spam. I may even visit the page. There is nothing about
this letter that couldn't be done in a mass mailing if you farm the addresses
correctly - which means someone runs a search on rehabbing and then eyeballs
every page in the response (one person can hit about 100 pages a day). Isn't
that still mass mailing only to a targeted audience?
