Unique visitors are determined differently depending on the software you
use. Here are two packages for auditing your site:
I've used Web Trends for tracking stats on our numerous sites. Thought
the report was excellent, and very detailed, though a little difficult
to customize. I'm now using a program called Marketwave HitList to
record hits and visits. Just as complete a report, and much easier to
customize. Both programs include graphs & charts as well as the numbers
you're looking for, but I've found that with the latter of these, I can
eliminate some of the data that is virtually useless to me and slows
down my system while compiling.
