ONLINE-ADS>> Chat and advertising? How will it influence a nation?

There is definitely something here. The attention spans...the intimacy w/
the medium.

It may not be banners because it appears that a consumer would be less
likely to transfer...it may be the ability to unfold multimedia packets
before this audience like....Pointcast.

Of course there is the key word concept and the bot concept where messages
appear in the chat itself...but that seems like it has great potential to
backfire.

Advertisers do not seem to be totally sold on this...for that matter, they
are not totally sold on anything involving the internet.

The banner ad in chat seems analogous to a billboard driving down the
highway...only the exposures are longer... the attention span is
greater....and so are the cpm's

Is anyone selling chat with insight? with a different perspective than
straight banner ads.

Please inform.
