Hello,

I always enjoy reading the postings of this list. This is actually
my first posting.

I have started a site called Free-Stuff.com (
http://www.free-stuff.com ) , and my goal is to have a theme of free
consumer related offers displayed each week for a week only as these usually
expire after a while and an archive would just mean more maintenance. and
also I want this theme to be of 7 offers that are interesting and from
reputable and known companies, not just the type used to boost traffic to a
web site. This week's theme is for 7 free magazine subscriptions, next
week's will probably be about 7 free CD ROM offers unless I get some better
submissions.

Do you think that such project is longevity viable to the point that
it could serve as a launch platform in the long future for the promotion of
new products? and what would be a good strategy to use at this startup
point to attract serious companies to send in information on their free
consumer promotions?
