I had the same experience with the IEEMMC & CYBER-PROMO. The volume of
junk-email that I receive has also increased after my "removal request"
placed at www.ieemc.org. Also, I'm not surprised that your attempts to
contact spammers were ignored.

I've found plenty of documentation on this problem and some suggestions
about what to do at http://www.junkbusters.com . Further, I think that ISPs
should consider Mark's sugggestions as part of the solution, and support
the idea that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) should allocate resources
to deal quite seriously with this junk-email practice.
