I agree - but here's a conundrum:

Those personal robots were sent by individuals who
expressed strong interest. The ads on the robotically
retrieved pages may not actually be *seen*, as the people
may not look at everything their robots fetch. But the
value of the eyeballs that *do* look at these ads might be
higher than others. Others were interested in looking at
the pages once. These people are interested enough to set
up robots.

So I guess we need a study to measure the clickthrough
on banners that are seen as a result of those personal
robots as compared to others. Is the technology up to the
challenge? Is there a company up to the challenge?
