We sure find this to be true when we create marketing plans for our clients.
Not only are many of these forms better in terms of effectiveness they can
be cheaper too. I run into alot of people who want me to guarantee the
results. In fact, a stock broker wanted me to guarantee him a rate of
return for his web site and a majordomo for investment advice (like he could
ever do that for the securities he sells). Even with all the news about
the web there is still alot of misguided phobia out there about trying
anything new that we cannot guarantee.
