America's true blue-chip media companies are musts. Base is 45-50K with
commission-based bonus and outstanding benefits.

Other opportunities are also available for independent sales reps.

Hey all,

I have a real short timeframe for a media plan I need to create.

I have a Canadian based client that needs to promote themselves in certain
cities/regions on the West Coast and certain cities in the mid west.

Turn around is only a few days, any body got some ideas of places to look
for site like this. I am looking at reaching only those peopel that live
in these areas. BTW, yes I am talking to the big ad firms, ie,
DoubleClick, but I would like to add more than just 'network' sites to the
mix.

Subject: Great Web Reports?

Hi,
I am new to this list and I am just now developing a web site for the
American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and I would very much like to
know people's opinions on the very best web report software out there.
Our site will be funded by sponsors and I want to be able to give them
the most useful info possible on all of the site's traffic.

I am hoping the list can assist me in developing a list of email
providers that also run banner advertising through their service.

The usual suspects are Juno, Mercury Mail, and HotMail. Can anyone ad
other advertising email providers?

Subject: ONLINE-ADS>> In-house Ad Sales

Hi everyone! I am in the process of researching the resource
requirements to serve banner ads in-house.(software, sales $ admin.
needs, rep firms, etc.)

We are currently using DoubleClick and have been very happy with their
service. However, we are reviewing our advertising model and exploring
the possibility of in-house ad sales. Although it has been fairly easy
evaluating ad serving software cost, I am having trouble finding out the
cost and effectiveness (sales/salesperson) of a sales team, the process
of selling ad space, and other resource requirements of in-house sales.

Any information you could share with me on how your company does
in-house ad sales, or resources on this subject, would be very helpful.
(I will be glad to share this info. when I am done with my analysis!)

Subject: Classifieds Online

Hello everyone,

I have a simple question I hope someone might be able to help me with,
especially any newspaper participants. Has anyone had any experience with
posting classifieds online? Specifically, what is the easiest way to
integrate ads accepted over the phone or in person vs. those accepted over
the Internet when trying to publish classifieds in both print and online?
Does anyone out there actually accept classifieds, to be published in print
and/or electronically, over the Internet? What payment method(s) do you
use when accepting classifieds online?

I appreciate any and all advice on this.
