After taking a look at the other bookstores that were listed in Armand's
(great name) post, and also Barnes & Noble's it seems that Amazon has
the best selection and price. Many bookstores didn't have the sample
books I searched for, or had it for 10-20% more than Amazon. Barnes &
Noble didn't have it, and I saw the book originally in a Barnes & Noble
store! It's sad that companies treat their web operations like their
lowest priority, and put the oldest information there, when it is
ideally suited for the most up to date. I'll buy a book that isn't even
in print yet if everything looks good. Instead, I have to wait for it to
be in B&N for weeks for it to get to their own web site.

While I am reluctant to build a bookstore extension to my website that
works with Amazon because of some of the negative reports I've heard,
I've almost decided to do so without expectations of profit, just as a
service to my readers.
