In reading the documentation about Open Profiling Standard,
I hadn't noticed any information about integrating with the
major databases. Is anyone aware of any information about
this?
I was thinking, it would be great if you could integrate
the information stored on the client machine with your
big marketing DBs, so that you could perform detailed
analyses. You could save a light amount of information
(registration data) on the client, and the detailed
psychographic and demographic information in the DB.
Alternatively, if the OPS stores this level of detailed
information, all of the DB integration stuff would be
un-necessary. Does anyone know *exactly* what information
OPS will store, or is all of that still under discussion?
