Sure. Give something tangilble to them for signing up. If they really want
it, they'll be sure to send you accurate information.

Also, play down the fact that you're going to use the data for advertising
and stuff. Be clear about it, but the language you use will be important.
Nothing turns off a prospect faster than misconstruing the message to
mean"we're going to load up your e-mail box wtih junk".
