The points made here are valid. However, I would add that a good
portion of click-throughs resulting in non vists are the result of an
extended wait for the advertiser's page to load up - the users becomes
impatient and cancels the request by hitting the Stop button. This is
measurable empirically by repeatedly testing load times for a sight and
comparing them among the roster of advertisers on the hosting site.
