Some insight on server side slowdowns.

At our recent Web Broadcasting '97 conference, Omar Ahmad of _at_Home
Networks quoted the webmaster for Netscape as saying, "every time I add a
server to the farm, I get another two million hits!"

Omar's point: a visitor will be at your site for, say, five minutes. In
that five minutes you can serve five pages, or eight, or....
