This is a good question, and yet it depends on which camp you ask the
question, that your answer might be more to your liking. This is the
closing thought in Ray's comment. ie. Opinions are like... etc.

As a race car builder can put together a winning machine, it takes
a driver too. One that knows the game from the trenches, the mechanics
of "working" the machine. I am a "WebMaster" <g> and yet I have a small
amount of talent in the marketing arena as well. Unfortunately, this is
not enough and must rely on good PR people to complete "my" package.

Actually, I also use other "WebMasters" advice and insight as well, for
I have found that you cannot be an island on the Internet. It seems to
be more important here than anywhere. Just as this news-stream is of
value, and is why we all read it, our daily interface on the Web DOES
include influences that make us ALL bettter at our jobs.

Bottom line?
It takes the best of ALL to create a winning effort.
This is true in most every project done worthwhile.

Of course, this is just MY humble opinion... Others?

AH!!!! The wonderful resources derived through our freedom of speech.
