Hi Fellow Marketers:
Thank you, thank you, and many more thanks for the time and interest you've
taken in responding to me. I've had dozens of letters and several calls
answering my enquiry concerning the Florida resort promotions.
Going by your valued suggestions, we decided to join lists and newsgroups
in various income levels, which is determined by subject matter, and we
will take an active participation in it. Manufacturing and business
investment groups are perfect for our world class resorts. Car clubs such
as the BMW list is excellent for our mid range income, and we found a group
of banks that service scholarships would be a fine source for our bargain
motels.
In each case, we'll run contests which will include a few questions about
the subject matter. Then we'll ask several questions about our area, which
will help introduce many of our exciting attractions. We'll award first and
second prizes to the winners, and the remainder of contestants will get
deep discounts for their participation. We plan to offer discount coupons
each week for 13 weeks, several new offers each week for ongoing promotions
to keep demonstrating our features such as golfing, tennis, fishing,
gambling cruises, shell hunting, souvenirs, etc.
Concerning specific areas, we are going to offer Public Television Stations
our contest in the areas desired by our resort. The stations can run the
contests for an interim fund drive and keep all the donations. They show
tapes of our resort involved, which gives our resorts free TV publicity!
They send us the names of all the participants and we assign them a PIN
number which brings their information right to our resort that wants them!
We will try to offer the local charities a similar contest if they will
create a contest for their contributors and send them photos with
information of our resorts as prizes.
We conceived this promotion by combining many of your suggestions, and I
thank you so much again for your help. I answered many of you by Email. In
return for your help, I ask you visit our contest address, and I make you

for improvements you care to make. Each person that sends a comment will
get our entire contest for your client for a nominal sum because the
resorts want the publicity. This gives a first prize of 5 nights, a second
prize of 2 nights,1 free admission for 2 to an attraction and 2 free
dinners for all winners. This includes the contest administration - so all
your client has to do is promote the contest for his business. If he runs a
mall, a newsletter or any Internet service, he can offer the contest to the
Web to attract clients to his site. If he is retail or a service, this of
course becomes a fine premium as an exciting draw in his advertising. This
cost represents a mere fraction of the price, and you can make a profit on
it yourself! If you want a Florida vacation for yourself, I'll get you a
similar personal deal without the contest.
