There are many ways to promote seminars on the Web. First, you want to
list your seminars in as many event-oriented search engines as
possible. There is a list of meeting, conference and trade show search
engines under the links section of the EventWeb site
(http://www.eventweb.com). You can get a free listing for your event on
all of these search engines. Some of these search engines generate a
lot of trafffic. Not all of these search engines are appropriate for
your seminars. The TechCalendar (http://www.techweb.com/calendar) is
only for technology events, for example.
2nd, there are many medical-oriented Web sites where you may be able to
post your seminar information. Start with MeetingsNet
(http://www.meetingsnet.com) and access Medical Meetings.
Third, you can submit your site for consideration for the EventWeb Site
of the day (http://www.eventweb.com/site.html). The EventWeb Site of
the Day is a new feature of my Web site that highlights the best
meeting, conference and trade show promotion sites. Also, you can
access any of the back issues of the EventWeb Newsletter, which offers
reviews and commentary about conference promotion on the Web.
