If I recall correctly, the Resnick lists are composed of individuals
who voluntarily sign up to receive these mailings. If those 90 angry
people did in fact sign up for the list service and then turned
around and flamed the businesses who paid hard earned income, not
to mention the consideration of paying .10c to .20 per email address
in lieu of blatant spamming, then the problem lies with those angry
customers!

I for one would not want these individuals as customers! These are
the same individuals who will charge an order to their credit cards,
receive the statement, and swear to high heaven that they never
ordered the merchandise (though most will keep the merchandise).

If we chose to conduct business in the paranoic state of believing
that every angry email recipient will wipe out that business built
out of our sweat, blood, tears, begging and money with a single
whining complaint of receiving one "deletable" email message (that
they requested) why even bother!

I say "phooey"!! Someone has to have the guts and tough skin to get
the 'email marketing model' over the next horizon and I applaud
any hard working entrepreneur who takes the initiative to step up
to the challenge and puts his money where his dreams are!
