First, I want to thank everyone who responded to my request for info on ad
reps. I have spoken with a lot of brokers over the last few days. To sum
up, I'd say the good news is that the brokers out there now are more
reputable and viable than even six months ago. The bad news is that their
are a lot of reputable brokers out there trying to sell ads at a lot of
sites. ;-)

I need to obtain a profile of my users with an online survey for marketing
purposes. I want to make sure I ask the right questions. My site is a
gardening site, so I've been told to ask questions that put the best light
on this population (probably +60% women, +95% home owners, over 30 years
old, etc.)

Heres what I have so far:

Sex
Age
Family (single, married, kids)
Weekly Hours Spent on the Web
Interest areas
Employment
Education
Home Ownership
Household Employment, (2 full time, 1 full time, etc.)
Household Income
(I was told it was best to ask the most personal questions last.)

Is there anything I should add?

Also, are their standard breakdowns for age groups? I mean, what should the
options for age be:
_15-20
_21-30
_31-40
_41-50, etc.
Or is there some standard breakdown I should use?

How about for income ranges?

I appreciate any input.
