On the PostMaster Direct lists, I remember reading that there's an
affiliate program, where NetCreations pays other outfits to gather
addresses (pays in use of PMD, actually, as I remember).

How are those addresses gathered? Does NetCreations require certain
wording accompanying the gathering mechanism? How do you verify that the
addresses are being gather kosher-like?
