Savvy.com freely admitted sending spams to email addresses it harvests from
the Web when I spoke to them on the phone a few months ago. They are often
mentioned in email lists and newsgroupgs dealing with spam.

Check out their DID-it.com: http://savvy1.savvy.com/emedia/internet.htm

I have never given these slimes my address, yet apparently I'm one of
"30,000 ...webmasters who have used the valuable Did-it Detective service."
I get email from that all the time.

Or check out: http://savvy1.savvy.com/emedia/consumer.htm
"The CatalogMart list contains more than 1.5 million email addresses in
over 50 topical categories." If you honestly believe that 1.5 million
people came to their site and voluntarily gave them their email addresses,
you are very, very naive.

Below is the only spam I haven't deleted. They sent it through
Cyber-Promo's "keepmailing.com." Cyber-Promo is the huge spammer that AOL
went to court to block from their network. In this spam they advertise the
same email lists that you're speaking about. Supposedly all opt-in--yet
they advertise it through a spam! And you believe this list is legit?

You obviously didn't check too carefully before you contracted with these
people to use their lists. I suggest you restrict your business
associations to legitimate businesses. As long as you support them, you
support spamming.
