Hi: I'm the product manager for SmartBanner at Focalink Communications.
We were instrumental in the formation of the IATC (Internet Advertising
Technology Council) a group that has been in existence for only a few
short months.

As was pointed out on this excellent discussion list, there was
significant negative reaction to NetGravity's unilateral announcement of
the work that the IATC is undertaking. Focalink's initial reaction was
the same as that of our colleagues in the group (i.e. disappointed), but
in the spirit of the group, Focalink would like to reserve comment until
an upcoming special meeting of the IATC that is being organized as we
speak. After that meeting, Focalink would be glad to update the Internet
advertising community via this mailing list.
