NetGravity would like to address recent discussions regarding
NetGravity's press release dated May 19, 1997. NetGravity is
committed to the growth and success of the IATC, and the advancement of
industry-wide standards.

Because the IATC has no formal process for issuing standards, we
thought it was appropriate to issue a press release once the standard
had been presented. It was never NetGravity's intention to casue a rift
within the IATC and have thus suggested a process for future
initiatives.

To address this situation, NetGravity has taken the following actions:

1. NetGravity has personally contacted executives who have posted
dissent to the online forum.
2. NetGravity has issued an email to all IATC members apologizing for
the confusion and suggesting process improvements.

The intent of NetGravity's release was the announcement of a proposed
standard to the IATC. NetGravity fully supports the IATC's goals and
mission.

We look forward to working with IATC Members to secure adoption of
future initiatives.
