Hey gang,

I'd like to get a dialogue started regarding the idea of how to value (and
sell) 30 or 60 second audio ads that would be streamed as part of other
audio content.

Existing radio spots are sold based on cost per point (determined by
Aribtron ratings0 while the Internet offers a model more condusive for cost
per user (i.e. CPM).

My question is, what are opinions about the relative value between a
streamed audio ad compared to a single ad banner impression?

Which is worth more (i know, i know... it depends on the audience but for
this sake, think of the audience being the same from the banner to the
audio ad):

A single 60 second audio ad or a single ad banner impression?
A single 30 second audio ad or a single ad banner impression?
How would you price audio ads relative to banners?

Think of the audio ads as being streamed passively from a real audio player
that is most likely minimized into the background of the desktop.

Any ideas?
