Before we get to the news this week, I wanted to let you
know that ZD University - the online distance learning
venture from Ziff-Davis - has a course in online advertising
that starts Monday (October 6).

The class is taught by Robbin Zeff, co-author of Advertising on
the Internet, and it runs for five weeks. Although the class
is filled, my sources tell me there is plenty of room for
auditors. Auditing a class simply means that you can not
post messages to the class discussion boards. You still get
all the benefits of Robbin's wisdom.

ZDU doesn't charge per course. Rather you pay a $4.95/month
fee and can then attend any number of classes you want. And
you can do so whenever it's convenient, rather then at a
specific date or time each week.

My understanding is that even though the class starts on
Monday, you can sign up at any time and still be able to
participate.
