Dear Sir.

This is my first post after following this list for the last six months
(Not that I am shy).

I have a request to build and manage a "Push channel "for a big PR company
They plan to broadcast to a targeted audience of 200 journalist in a
specialised market, 100 to 200 pieces of information a week.

The journalist do use e-mail and Internet, but I have some doubts whether
the "free available pushed information" will be accepted by this group of
professionals that are already bombarded with e-mails and faxes.

Obviously the important factor is how interesting is for the journalists
the information to be push, which I know is quite interesting. Today they
are getting the information by post on an almost daily basis.

I will welcome any ideas or experiences in this "Push" field.
How is it been accepted? How to promote the idea?, etc.
Also any advice on technical solutions available.

Do anyone in the list have a position of how valid is this "narrow
broadcasting push technology"?
