It would seem to me that this would be an ideal situation to take
advantage of the brand recognition potential of banner ads. Use animated
banners like billboards on the online media sites to convey a political
message. This could be done with or without the ability to click through
the ad to a site with more detailed information.

Banners are cheaper and quicker to produce than television spots and
billboards. They would be good for responding to various charges from
the opposition.

Here's an idea: Conspire with your competition to enter into a banner ad
debate! The media would love it as people visit their sites to see the
latest charge or response. Hm. If people came to a site primarily to see
your banner ads, do you suppose you could charge the hosting site for
the privilege of carrying your banners? S:->
