Glen - As a twenty two year advertising veteran I can assure you that testing
makes sense, however the benefits primarily accrue to you. The knowledge is
most beneficial to you and could actually be detrimental to some sites.
Certainly the ad impressions benifit you. In my opinion it is unreasonable
for you to expect a free ride when it come to testing creative. You should
pick up the tab! This is a tough ad market. i think you are really pushing
it to ask for freebies unless the site agrees that the test is something that
will benefit both parties and therefore is amenable to picking up some portion
of the tab.
