Just think of this.
Would you want the telephone directories, vis a' vis Yellow pages to
have explicit ads in them for adult businesses like "Escort" services,
etc. Now I do support the premise that these businesses have a
fundamental right to advertise in same just like what heather
exposues..... But, one has to draw the line somewhere. I wonder if
Heather would want her kids to open a Yellow page book and see someone
doing an anla sex act. And in the case of banners ads they are animated.

Yes, allow ALL businesses to be lsited...but when it comes to a general
forum, i.e. search directory (which is almost the same format as the
Yellow Pages) exercise some restraint and common sense.
I bet the Yellow pages could make big $$ using explicit advertising for
say a strip club...but then again they use common sense.

I fear that the path Yahoo is taking will eventually allow the forces of
censorship more power in controlling the Net. As Greg Bulmish
appropriately put it freedom without responsibiltiy is anarchy....
Well folks we all know what anarchy usually leads to ...control.

Heck I'm not a prude and in fact I am putting together an adult site....

But I do feel that I need to show some responsibilty also.
Putting my banner ads on search engines or directories is not one of
them. Sure, I may not pull in the $80,000.00 per month that others do
(see CNN Impact Sunday Oct 26 _at_ 9am eastern)...but I will sleep
with a clear conscience.
