Hey everyone,

I really wanted to take a look at the VRML examples, but when I went to the
site listed:

my browser crashed (actually, it performed an illegal operation. Bad
browser, bad :-)

Anyway, if you don't already have the plug-in, or if your plug-in is an old
version, is this what normally happens? If so, then my answer has to be no,
I don't think VRML advertising will catch on (right away). As soon as the
bugs are worked out, as in other similar plug-ins, then it may have a
chance.

I also have to agree with Donna...

I think many of us in this business are blessed with high-end systems, and
we sometimes forget that most people on the web are running slower,
smaller, older machines without pentium chips, tons of RAM and T1 access.
Many designers have the same problem. I've seen images (and some ads) 50k+
all over the web. This is hard to believe, since most people are still
running a 28.8. And it also surprises me that many images are designed
using a custom palette. Have they seen what happens on a 256 color monitor?

I think Narrative (Enliven) has the right idea - no plug-ins required,
small file size, real-time interactivity, etc. This will be a company to
watch...
