Hey all,

In the last Ad Bytes (September 27, 1997 / issue 33) I wrote:

"A study from Jupiter Communications
pegs Yahoo! as the most recognized brand
on the Internet."

That is incorrect. Jupiter didn't say that. According to 'Marketing
Computers,' Yahoo was pegged as the most recognized name on the Internet in
two surveys, but the sources of those surveys are not named.

The article, which is from the October issue of 'Marketing Computers,' said
this:

"A pair of national surveys have
pegged Yahoo! as the single most
recognized name associated with
the Internet."

Then it said:

"The latest figures from New York's
Jupiter Communications have Yahoo!
leading the web in ad revenues and
pulling away fast."

I got the two mixed up.

Here is the URL to the article. It is worth reading.

Sorry for the confusion. And my apologies to the Jupiter folks.
