Hello, again, everyone ~ John Flint brought up a number of good questions
about the
Net Ratings Online Observer product, so I will quickly summarize the major
points
of how it works and why it is different from any of the others:

1. Methodology; Net Ratings derives all of its data from our own
proprietary panel
which is recruited through Random Digit Dial (RDD) and online recruiting. This
carefully-vetted and balanced panel is statistically representative of the
known
universe of web users today. At launch, we have some 2,200 people on the
panel, and
will be over 25,000 by year end.

2. Technology; our service uses a proprietary Java-based proxy server (very
small
program of less than 100k which does not slow down or interfere with their
viewing
patterns) which sits client-side in the datastream. This enables Net Ratings to
capture complete, absolutely accurate information on what they are doing...
including caching operations! This single point is important for anyone
concerned
with accurate accounting for ad banner deliveries, impressions and
click-through
rates, because as much as 30% of some viewers' usage involves clicking on
the back
button, which pulls pages out of cached memory and is NOT counted on other
services, such as Relevant Knowledge. It also allows us to extract other key
information, such as e-commerce transactions for future reporting.

3. Unique features; two critical areas that Net Ratings excels in are:
- 'Real-time' WEEKLY reports, accessible online 24x7x365
- Comprehensive banner advertising reporting, including audience delivery,
demographics, click-through response
rates and much more. This provides truly amazing competitive analysis
capabilities that surpasses anything else
available on the web at this point.

If I said much more, it would begin to sound like a commercial, but I'm
confident
that anyone who previews the service will be impressed. Drop me an email for
password access - just let me know where you are located, what business
you're in
(agency, client, publisher) and your specific information interest... I'll
send you
the appropriately geographically-coded access word.

Best regards to all,
Mike Crosson
