Actually, there is a much easier way to accomplish this that I think more
fully utilizes the capabilities of Quickbooks. When you create the
initial invoice for the advertiser, "memorize" it. This is one of the
functions under the edit menu that allows you to prompt Quickbooks to
create this invoice again at a predefined date. After selecting "memorize
invoice", you receive a window that allows you to select a variety of
options, including the date of the new invoice and the frequency (ie
weekly, monthly, etc.) You also get to select the date when the new
invoice will be created.

When you create the initial invoice for an advertiser, if you memorize it
to come up again X number of days before the ad expires, you will have a
reminder to both sell and invoice a new ad.
