While watching CNN late last Saturday night, they do their CNNSI promo with
screen shot, and what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a broken
image of a 468x60 banner image at the top of the page.

1) either a mistake, a technical error, or a glitch

or more fun

2) a suit decided that banners belong only on the site, and need to be
stripped from content when being displayed during an actual broadcast.

BANNERS BANNED ON CABLE....cool eh?

Okay, the Big Traffic Challenge we need to drive 312,000 visitors between
8/17 and 8/31 in whatever way possible...banners, badges, buttons, text
links, stamping our feet. Our glorious budget for said task $21,250 net.
BTW banners for this campaign have been getting 7%+ clickthrough on
average. (No it's *not* adult content related, and yes, eyescream designed
them)
