Here's follow-up to what I wrote last week.

I was contacted by USA Today and they explained their side of the story
better. In the interest of sharing both sides, I feel I should tell what
they said.

First off, the reason they can't just give us the low performing weather
pages is because they split the revenue with the company supplying the
weather data. Fine. I accept that answer.

They did, however, admit that their rep may have led us to believe we could
structure a deal where we could get those pages thrown in for free. See,
they have an assistant work with media buyers until it is time to close the
deal, then they bring in a true sales rep. USA Today told me they will talk
to this assistant so such confusion does not happen in the future.
