In mid-September I am launching the website to coincide with the
publication of my latest book "StrikingItRich.com: Profiles of 23
Incredibly Successful Websites...That You've Probably Never Heard
Of" (McGraw-Hill, Hardcover). This is an invitation to contribute
to the website. You should know up front that this is a high
profile book. Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon.com wrote the foreword.
It's the first book he has ever endorsed so we expect a lot of
traffic, which means more eyeballs for your missive!

On that note, here's is what I am specifically looking for.

There will be an area called "Guaranteed Success Tips" -- these
are brief insights from website owners. Here are a couple
examples:

* "At first our customers could only pay online for their
directory listing. When we finally included additional payment
options via fax, 800-number and postal mail, our sales increased
nearly 100%...I cringe when I think of all the sales we must have
lost in the beginning." Debra Shatford, President, Focused

* "Before you launch your site make sure you have materials
prepared to send to people who made inquiries over the web."
David H. Baum, The Law Office of David H. Baum,

Here are the parameters:

* The tip should be six sentences maximum.

* The tip should be from your experience, not a generalization
like "avoid Java."

* Please identify what your company does or offers, if it's not
apparent from reading the tip
