If reliability is your "hot button", than you should
probably outsource the service. If you aren't set up to
sell your own ads (as most small to medium sites), you might
want to join on a network [like ours ;-)] ,
http://www.adsdaq.com, where you get rid of a couple of
headaches and can concentrate on content.

Advertisers want a lot of tracking, distribution and
auditing capabilities that are just not available in the
small packages.
