Certainly. But glitches preclude one from making any money
and can -- in certain instances -- harm a site in the long
run. My site, Beetle Buzz, is with FlyCast and we have been
experiencing problems as a result of FlyCast's problems. The
main problem: Beetle Buzz does not load at all sometimes.

I have noticed several time slots on my log sheet where
Beetle Buzz has logged ZERO HITS. The only other time the
site's logged zero hits was when it didn't exist!!!

Here's a quandary for folks on this list: It seems FlyCast
is well on its way to rectifying their current problems.
Beetle Buzz still experiences hour time slots with no hits,
which I believe is largely due to the odd fact the site
sometimes fails to load in Netscape browsers but loads fine
(advertisements and all) in Internet Explorer. Anyone have
any ideas why?

Is it time for me to put up a page stating, "Best viewed in
Internet Explorer"? It won't do much good, anyway, since the
page won't load in Netscape browsers.

Regardless of the current problem, advertisement delivery
has been flawless otherwise. I have faith in FlyCast being
able to restore its efficiency and reliability. And -- yes
-- I suppose problems from increased demand are the best
kind... All affiliates with FlyCast will likely benefit once
everything is on track again, so long as any damage done is
not irreparable (affiliates leaving, advertisers leaving
(?), site visitors abandoning sites like Beetle Buzz due to
loading problems, etc.).

Exactly! Beetle Buzz does not need the hassle of these
administration tasks and costs; instead we are able to
concentrate on what we do best -- providing valuable
editorial and photo content to New Beetle owners and
enthusiasts around the globe.
