Jim,
I agree with you that $500 isn't a lot of money, but depending on the
advertiser I would be inclined to pick that contract up, more or less
because we feel that we can always satisfy the customer enough that he/she
will always come wanting for more. Plus, you can never have enough
high-exposure advertisers on your site.
No one has ever asked us for a $500 buy before--perhaps because our lowest
listed option is $7,500. But if the right company wanted to try us out,
we would certainly be willing to do it. With the right spin, I'll bet
you'll find many others willing to take the $500 too.
