I am celebrating that I'm about to sell all my remaining top page
ad views to a single customer. Probably for at least six months!
At $0.004 per ad-view (which isn't really much for highly targetted
ad's, I think) but at least I don't have to worry about selling ad-space
anymore for a half year. ;-)
300.000 times $0.004 is $1200. Together with other ad's ($500)
and commission for helping people find scarce IC's (about $1100)
my site starts to pay-off nicely at $2800 per month, which buys
a lot more in the Netherlands than in the USA, by the way... ;-)
All I have to do now is install the ad's, redirect the scarce IC
requests directly to the IC broker who helps me actually find the
chips and I can go on a six month cruise (probably visiting her
in the States along the way)!
I hope this 'success story' encourages some of you not to despair
yet, but to continue with your independent information sites... ;-) ;-)
