The answer is, of course, a definite yes. But think of banners as the
floppy drive on your computer. Its obsolete. A Zip drive is way better,
but just like banners, floppy drives are the lowest common denominator
and so will outlive their usefulness. Banners will remain with us as
people move towards more rich media ads. Of course, we need some
standards here - just like 468x60 helped so much way back when.

But heck, lets define a standard for interstitials right here and now.
How many votes for 8-10 seconds of Shockwave Flash, at 640x480, with a
background color and audio?
