I am researching the use of online computer terminals at POP by traditional
storefront retailers as a selling tool for consumers who wish to
research product options or place orders for hard-to-find specialty
merchandise/sizes/etc. In particular, I am looking for applications
in the sporting goods retail trade, but would be interested talking
to retailers, manufacturers or vendors in other industries where this
combined online/storefront sales effort is prevalent.
This information will be used in an upcoming Internet column in
Sporting Goods Business Magazine.
