Hey all,

I was paging through my May 29th issue of The Industry Standard and re-read
an article "Misunderstood Moneyman." It is an interview with Avie Glazer,
CEO of the fishmeal and Internet portal wannabe Zapata. It is online at:

I was almost convinced that Avie Glazer might be a genius. Then I read this
quote:

"The biggest expense a Web site has is promotion," Glazer opines. "A lot of
the people we talk to say their site is about to fold for lack of promotion
and lack of traffic."

I've been in this business going on four years now. In my experience is
that the biggest expense is content creation, not promotion.

I think Avie Glazer is either clueless or has some very bad advisors.
