ONLINE-ADS>> Banner Ad Creation Tools

One of the topics raised by web publishers at my forum
this past weekend was "how to create or modify ad
banners." Frequently, web publishers found that their
advertisers either could not create banners, or sought
to use very poor-quality banners. As a result, we are
being forced not only to design our own self-promotion
banners, but to create or enhance banners for our
advertisers.
At the same time, all attendees lamented the total
absence of any reliable agency or service that could
consistently provide good banner-ad creative services,
at a reasonable price.
On Sunday, I decided to "spin off" my list of banner ad
creation tools from my "related resources" page to its
own separate page, and I would appreciate any feedback
regarding the new page. In particular, I want to learn
of any other banner-ad creation and editing tools, and
any GIF-compression tools I may have omitted. I would
also invite suggestions of any individuals or agencies
that offer services related to creating banner ads.
