I was speaking with someone the other day who told me of a commerce site
that advertised in the classifieds section of hundreds of newspapers around
the country. The small text ads drove people to the web site (very mediocre
site). The site sells about $10,000 PER DAY in wrist watches! That's over $3
million in sales a year!

I think there are lots of these hidden success stories of smaller businesses
that never get told. Very inspiring. Anyone know of others?
