AdKnowledge serves web ads across thousands of the largest web sites on
behalf of ad agencies and their clients. Last summer, we saw a marked,
seasonal decrease in traffic on a same site/campaign basis. There is no
question that less surfing takes place in the summer. This is probably
due to several factors, including:

- School is out and many students don't have the same level of internet
access at home (or any access at all at home).
- The weather is better and people spend more time outside. Housing
purchases are seasonal for this reason.
- More vacations take place in the summer and people don't surf on
vacation (we hope!).
