My point is that right now the Web is not *best* at
creating awareness. Sure it's possible, but it would be
grossly under-utilizing the medium. Also, when was the
last time a banner ad emotionally moved you? TV and other
"old" media can do that.

Also, try selling an online "awareness" campaign to a
client who just spent a wad of cash on building a Web
site, especially if that site is doing transactions. They
want click-through to that site, not much else.
