Has anyone else on this list noticed a dramatic change
in performance on LinkExchange since they rolled out
their "LE Deluxe" program (which uses 468x60 banners)?
My 400x40 banner's performance has dropped
from about 120:1 (0.8%) to 190:1 (0.55%) in
the past two weeks, while the 468x60 banner
is consistently drawing 33:1 response ratio (3%).
The two banners are quite similar, so I do believe
this is a function of the shift from the old to the
new network.
I suspect that part of the improvement comes from
the "above the fold" placement of the new banners,
but I also suspect that a significant part of the
improved performance is coming simply from the
fact that this is a "new" program and older sites
with poor performance have not yet converted,
while sites with good performance will see the
value and switch early.
