Just to be real clear, this is not a new policy by Yahoo. They have
been behind and not listing all the sites they receive for well over
a year -- closer to two years is more appropriate. It's simply that
complaints are rising enough that it's becoming more noticeable.

The Yahoo Special Report I did last year still holds pretty true
today. For those unaware of it, it can be found at:

http://searchenginewatch.com/webmasters/yahoo/

I'd also recommend reading a recent piece about the Mining Company
and Yahoo, which illustrates problems many others may face. It's
linked off of:

http://searchenginewatch.com/sereport/

While not getting listed remains a problem, and even bigger issue
seems to be the inability to get descriptions changed or updated, or
the fact that Yahoo will simply wipe out many appropriate, carefully
considered summaries and not use a description at all, or one
written by an editor without forethought as to how it affects search
results.

cheers,
danny
